2000 – Luiz Augusto de Oliveira Candiota founds Grupo Lacan

2001 – Start of Corporate Advisory Services and Management of Exclusive Investment Funds

2003 – Luiz Candiota is named Deputy Governor for Monetary Policy of the Brazilian Central Bank

2005 – Launch of Lacan Equilíbrio FIM, a Hedge Fund with a balanced invesment strategy focused on the Fixed
           Income, Currency and Equity markets

2007 – Start of MPD KC FIDC, Brazil’s first Residential Real Estate Receivables Fund; and of FUNCINE Lacan
            Downtown Filmes, a Private Equity Fund to finance the National Film Industry, in partnership with Brazil´s
            largest film distributor

2008 – Expansion into Structuring of Exclusive Funds

         – Lacan’s assets under management increase to R$ 80 million
 
2009 – Debut of FUNCINE Anima SP, the first Private Equity Fund dedicated to animated audiovisual projects for  
            the child/teen segment, in partnership with the Padre Anchieta Foundation – TV Cultura

2010 – Start of FUNCINE Lacan Downtown II, a Private Equity Fund to Finance the National Film Industry, in 
            partnership with Brazil´s largest film distributor

         – Creation of FUNCINE Lacan Mixer, in partnership with Grupo Mixer, one of the largest national producers 
            of Feature Films, Animation, TV Series and Telefilms, among other activities


         – Start of FUNCINE Rio 1, in partnership with RioFilme, a company owned by Rio de Janeiro´s City Government wich is involved in the film distribution business, fosters audiovisual works and encourages movie attendance. 

         – Launch of Lacan Valor FIA, open-end long-only equities fund which seeks to outperform the Bovespa Index and provide long term capital appreciation 

         – Lacan achieves  R$500 million of assets under management
